Long-Term Care Notes Specialist Job
Summary:
The Long-Term Care Notes Specialist will be responsible for managing and documenting the long-term care notes of patients at Fairview, a skilled rehab nursing home.
The specialist will work closely with nursing staff, therapists, and physicians to ensure that all notes are completed accurately and in a timely manner.
Responsibilities:
Manage and document long-term care notes for all patients at Fairview Collaborate with nursing staff, therapists, and physicians to ensure that all notes are accurate and complete Follow all HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality at all times Update patient records in a timely and accurate manner Communicate with the interdisciplinary team regarding any changes or updates to patient notes Attend team meetings and provide updates on long-term care notes Assist with other administrative tasks as needed Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration or related field Experience in long-term care notes or medical record management preferred Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively with others Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written Proficient in Microsoft Office and electronic medical record systems
Qualifications:
